Judith A. Sabo's Obituary
Judith Anne Sabo (nee Schmidt), 1941-2014. Judy died on March 15, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Lenny for 52 years. She is the love of his life.
Judy was the mother of David, who is with her in heaven, and Becky (Don) McGoun. She was the grandmother of Jenny – her “Beautiful Butterfly”.
Loving big sister to Sandy (Al) Ricchetti; special sister-in-law to Bob (Barb) Sabo and Rich Sabo (deceased); devoted aunt to Christy (Spenser) Vago, Tony (Myrhea) Ricchetti, Mike (Charlotte) Ricchetti, Ken (Jackie) Sabo and Laura Sabo; dear cousin and best friend.
Judy’s heart was a surgical miracle as a child and a spiritual miracle as a believer in Christ. Her generous heart touched the lives of everyone who knew her in amazing and wonderful ways. Her influence and faith will continue to inspire those she loved.
Funeral service will take place at 2:00 PM, on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at the Westwood Abbey Mausoleum Chapel located in Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Rd, N. Olmsted. Interment in Sunset Memorial Park immediately following. Family will receive friends at the Westwood Abbey on Tuesday, March 18, from 5-9 PM.
Judy’s family requests donations be made, in her memory, to the Cleveland Pregnancy Center, 5273 Broadview Rd, Cleveland, OH 44134.
