Judith Carolyn Volle's Obituary
Judith Volle, lovingly known as Judy, passed away peacefully at the age of 89 on February 5, 2025. Born on March 2, 1935, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Edgar and Vera Dehn, Judy lived a life full of love and kindness.
Judy was the devoted mother of Suzanne, Stephanie, Stephen, and Jeffrey (Peggy). She was the cherished nana of Aaron (Mariyah), Brendan, Emma, and Ian, and a beloved great-nana to Cal. Judy was also a treasured aunt to many and a former wife and friend of James.
Judy's compassionate nature led her to graduate from nursing school in 1956, dedicating her skills to helping others. She spent 15 years of her career at the American Red Cross.
Outside of her professional life, Judy found joy in baking, especially cream puffs and poppy seed cakes, which were loved by all who had the pleasure of tasting them. She also had a knack for crafting, transforming milkweed pods into beautiful Christmas ornaments that brought joy to many during the holiday season.
Her legacy as a beloved mother and caring individual will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Following Judy's wishes, there will be a private service held in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Hospice of the Western Reserve in Judy's honor.
