June Thelma Minnick's Obituary
June Thelma Minnick, age 90, of Olmsted Twp., passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 1, 2020.
She was born October 17, 1929, daughter of the late Lake Wall and Rose Hawkins. June was a devout Christian and incredibly active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cleveland. She was a proud member of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League and the Alter Guild. She enjoyed volunteering and going to rummage sales. June loved her dear family and will be greatly missed.
Devoted wife of 72 years to John G. Minnick; treasured mother of John (Karen), Randolph (Joyce), Mark (Alice), Jeffrey (Cristine), Melinda (Daniel) Zavagno, and Scott (Mary Beth); cherished grandmother of 18; beloved great grandmother of 29; loving great-great grandmother of three; adored sister of Jane (the late Jack) Roth and the late Robert (the late Myrt); caring sister-in-law of the late Anna (the late John) Chorba; dearest aunt of many nieces and nephews; loving friend of many.
Visitation will take place on Monday, October 5, 2020 from 4PM – 8PM in the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH 44070 where funeral service will commence on Tuesday, October 6, at 10AM. Interment immediately following in Sunset Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in June’s name are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church, 2031 W 30th St., Cleveland, OH 44113.
