June Mizer's Obituary
June Mizer, age 88, of Strongsville, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 29, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 16, 1931 in Coshocton, OH, daughter of the late James and Hazel (nee Curry) Conrad. June was a graduate of Lakewood High School, Muskingum College, and Case Western Reserve College. She was a lifetime member of College Club West. June worked for many years as the children’s librarian at Cuyahoga County Public Library. In retirement, she worked as a volunteer at Southwest General Hospital. She will be greatly missed.
Devoted wife of 60 years to Howard Mizer; cherished mother of Eileen (Dave) Hammon, and Robert Mizer; beloved grandmother of Rachel and David Hammon; loving friend of many.
Funeral service will take place Thursday, December 5, 2019 at 10AM. The family will receive friends from 9AM until the time of the service. Interment immediately following in Sunset Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in June’s name are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 10501 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44106.
