Karen Kim Callaghan's Obituary
Karen Kim Callaghan, age 72, of Rocky River, Ohio, passed away suddenly on November 15, 2025. Born on July 17, 1953, in Berea, Ohio, Karen was the beloved daughter of Bob Callaghan and Betty Callaghan (both deceased) and sister to Terry (Wendy) Callaghan.
She was born in Berea, Ohio and graduated from Berea High School. She spent much of her adult life living in Rocky River, which she loved.
Karen worked for many years in the insurance industry as a broker, where she made many friends. She was known for her encyclopedic knowledge of the commercial industry and her willingness to help.
Karen never married and spent her spare time working with horses. She fell in love with them at an early age and bought her first horse in her 20’s. She became well known in the local show circuit and also gave lessons.
Karen loved Cleveland sports. She had season tickets in the “Dog Pound” at the Browns games and shared with a group, season tickets to the Indians during their glory years 1995-2007.
She lived life to the fullest and will be missed.
Graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park on Friday, December 5, 2025. Please meet at Sunset Legacy, 6451 Columbia Road, Olmsted Township, Ohio 44070 no later than 10:45 to process to graveside together.
