One of my families favorite Karl memories is when he came to my parent's 50th wedding anniversary in 2004. He was saying how he enjoyed golfing and to my young daughters that meant "putt-putt miniture golf" that they loved doing at that age. He happily joined us and had us all laughing the whole time. He even taught the girls how to better control the ball.
Karl was a wonderful and generous cousin. Together with Jeannette, they always welcomed me and any stray friends I had with me into their home when I was at school in southern Ohio. Like his father Ange did for my father, Karl always took good care of my car anytime I would visit. And when summer came, I always enjoyed going out on their boat - a big deal to a California desert kid. Thanks Karl.
