Kathie Kamenec's Obituary
Kathie Kamenec (nee Meixner), age 71, born October 9, 1952, passed away September 30, 2024.
Kathie was born to the late John R. and Marie (Lachman) Meixner. Kathie will always be remembered for her giving heart and generous spirit. She deeply cared for her friends and family and was always there for them when needed.
Kathie is preceded in death by her beloved daughter Michelle Hutchison. Kathie is survived by her son Lawrence (Rochelle) Kamenec, and her cherished grandchildren Riley Vrcek, Tegan Linn, and Kyle Kamenec. Kathie was also eagerly awaiting the birth of her first great grandson. She also leaves behind her dear siblings John H. Meixner, Pamela Bruce, Yvonne Grad, and Russell Meixner.
A celebration of Kathie's life will be held on Saturday, October 12th at the Miller Nature Preserve at 2739 Center Road in Avon, Ohio from 10:00 am - 1:30 pm. Friends and family are invited to gather to enjoy food and beverages as we remember and honor Kathie's life.
