Kathleen M. Kingsbury's Obituary
Kathleen M. Kingsbury, age 70, of Strongsville, peacefully passed away September 16, 2015. Born on August 14, 1945 to the late Robert Knapp and Ruth Chatfield; step-daughter of Jerry Chatfield.
Beloved wife of Henry Kingsbury (deceased) for 45 years; dear mother of Bryan (Cathy), Scott (Merrill), April Walsh (Terry), Heather Kingsbury and Holly Kingsbury; cherished grandmother of Ian, Alex, Erin, Declan, Connor, Reilly, Emily and Maiti; sister of Judith Atlee (Bob), Dale Knapp (Sue), Ken Krejci (Sheila), Patricia Johnson (Steve), Michael Knapp, Debra Keen (Gene) and Robert Knapp (deceased).
Kathleen was a retiree from Chase Bank. She was a kind and loving soul who will be dearly missed. Kathleen was very devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. She loved her home church, St. Louis Parish of Cleveland Heights. She and Henry took part in a group known as Marriage Encounter, where they became a part of a very close-knit “Circle” of friends. Kathleen enjoyed needlepoint, cross stitch and traveling with Henry.
Visitation will take place on Friday, September 18, 2015, from 4 – 9 PM at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH 44070. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015, 11:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Parish, 12700 Pearl Rd, Strongsville, OH 44136. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
