Kathryn Cobb Tomosko's Obituary
Kathryn Cobb Tomosko entered eternal rest on December 26, 2025, at the age of 96. Born on March 17, 1929, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the cherished daughter of the late Charles E. Cobb and Rena A. Greulich.
Kathryn is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Robert Tomosko. Kathryn and Robert shared more than 51 beautiful years together—a love story built on devotion, faith, and family. She is reunited with her parents and her sisters, Clara Urban and Ollie Parker.
Kathryn devoted her life to teaching, sharing her passion for learning with countless children. Her gentle spirit and unwavering patience left an indelible mark on every student she guided. Beyond the classroom, Kathryn’s heart belonged to her family and her beloved dogs, who brought her endless joy, along with her treasured grand dog. She also enjoyed cheering passionately for the Cavaliers, embracing every game with enthusiasm.
She leaves behind a legacy of love through her daughters: Ann (Tim) Stemen, Kathryn (Scott) Rieg, and Beth (Brad) Leech. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren: Karl, Claire, and David Stemen; Kathryn Rieg; and Ben and Brenna Leech. Each of them carries forward her warmth, wisdom, and laughter.
Kathryn’s life was a testament to kindness, humility, and the simple joys of love and companionship. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude for the love and care Kathryn received while living at the Normandy Facilities.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 4th, 2026, at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 from 2pm-4pm. A service will follow the next day, Monday, January 5th, 2026, at St Mary of the Falls, 25615 Bagley Road, Olmsted Falls, Ohio 44138 at 10:30am.
