Kay Phillips' Obituary
Kay Phillips, age 97, passed away on February 27, 2026. She was born on August 14, 1928 to the late Peter and Vesta Golobosky.
She was the beloved wife of 60 years to the late Albert Sr.; dear mother of Al Jr. (Dolores), Michael, Deborah, and the late Mark; devoted grandmother of Greg, Lee, Bryan, Chris, Nick, and Stacy; and loving great-grandmother of seven.
Kay was a long-time resident of Westlake, Ohio and Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She found joy in nature—especially bird‑watching, spotting deer, and appreciating all kinds of wildlife. She loved playing cards and cherished the time spent around the table with her family and great‑grandchildren. She especially loved playing 500, sorting Lego and puzzle pieces, and sharing ice cream treats. Spending time with the family was her greatest joy.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 on Sunday, March 8, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest privately at Sunset Memorial Park.
