Kenneth B. Burns' Obituary
Kenneth B. Burns, 86, of Middleburg Heights, passed away November 27, 2018.
Beloved husband of 59 years to Polly (Euller); loving father of Bradley (Mary) and Bonne Burns; cherished grandfather of Hannah and Madeline Burns; dear brother of the late Robert (the late Marguerite) and Roger (Patsy) Burns.
Kenneth earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio University and then earned his Law Degree from Cleveland Marshall Law School. He was employed for 55 years as an Attorney at Law with various partnerships. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Kenneth was a very active member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and St. Thomas Episcopal Church and of the Middleburg Heights Kiwanis Club. He was a devoted fan and season ticket holder for the Cleveland Browns for 46 years and was also a patron of the Cleveland Orchestra and Playhouse. Kenneth enjoyed fishing on Lake Erie, gardening and travelling the world, having visited all seven continents.
Visitation is 12-3 p.m., Sunday, December 2, 2018, at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, where funeral services will commence at 3 p.m. Private interment at a later date at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Berea, the American Cancer Society or to Middleburg Heights Kiwanis, Attn: Jon Karl; 7302 Markal Drive, Middleburg Heights, Ohio 44130.
