Kevin Wayne Younkin's Obituary
Kevin Wayne Younkin, 71, of Olmsted Falls, Ohio, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024. He was born on January 21, 1953.
He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Younkin; son, Kyle (Kerry) Younkin; siblings, Brett (Peggy) Younkin, Noreen (Donald) Threlkeld, Rick Younkin, and nieces and nephews.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Juanita Younkin, Leroy Younkin, and H. Norris Esler; siblings, Karyn Taggart and Gregg Younkin.
Kevin’s careers as a teacher of special needs children and Physician Assistant embodied his passion to serve others. He worked diligently to promote the use of Physician Assistants in modern healthcare. His love of adventure was evident through many visits to national and state parks, travel across the US, and epic journeys to other countries. Throughout his life, his dedication to family and friends was exemplified through his many acts of love, support, encouragement, and sharing his culinary creations.
Graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 on Monday, June 3, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. Meet at the Sunset Chapel at 12:45. Following the graveside service there will be a Celebration of Life held in the banquet hall of the Sunset Chapel.
