Kezia "Kay" Getty's Obituary
Kezia "Kay" Getty, 91, of Parma, Ohio passed away on April 13, 2022 at Hospice of Western Reserve in Westlake, Ohio after a recent illness. She was born in Pine Township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania on March 7, 1931 to the late Clair F. and Martha Edna (nee Fetterman) Thompson. She graduated from Clymer High School in 1949 and worked at McCrory Stores until her marriage to Robert G. Getty of Montgomery Township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania in 1955. She resided in Parma, Ohio for the past 60 years where she managed the home and raised her children. Beloved wife of Robert; loving mother of John R. (deceased), Craig A. (deceased), Brent D. of Florida, Kevin W. of Parma, Brian T. (deceased), Brenda K., and Karen E. (William) Field, Jean A. (Jeffrey) Krist; cherished grandmother of 11; and a great-grandmother and aunt of many. She is also preceded in death by her brothers George, Roy, John, Murray, and Harry Thompson, and sister Martha Byers. Private services and burial will take place at Sunset Chapel and Memorial Park.
