Kurt D. Snyder's Obituary
Kurt D. Snyder, 68, of North Ridgeville, passed away January 14, 2020.
Beloved husband of 48 years to Alma (nee Oberacker); loving father of Scott and Melinda Snyder; dear grandfather of McKinnley, Truman and Kennedy; cherished brother of Kay (Paul) Toohey; brother-in-law of Joanne (Mark) Swansegar, Joyce (John) Marucci, Murray Oberacker, Richard (Stacie) Oberacker, also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, Carl and June Snyder; parents-in-law, Murray and Jean Oberacker; and sister-in-law, Audrey (Harold-living) Hallowell.
Kurt was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a member of the Loudonville American Legion Post 257. He retired from First Energy as a lineman after 40 years of service. He enjoyed bowling, camping and loved his dog, Makala.
Visitation is 3-7 p.m., Sunday, January 19, 2020, at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, where funeral services will commence at 12 noon, Monday, January 20. Interment at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
