Laurel A. Lorincz's Obituary
Laurel Ann Lorincz (nee Schenck), age 74, passed away September 15, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Steve; loving mother of Stevie, Susan Gura (Tony) and Jackie Glavasevic (Eddie); former mother-in-law of Karla Lorincz and Jeffery Comi; cherished grandmother of Stephanie, Kara, Noah (Lorena), Jacob, and Carolyn; great-grandmother of Harper, Blakely and Liam; dear sister of Carol Buehl and the late Marlene Sheppard; adored companion of dogs, Phoebe and Lilly.
In high school, Laurel was a Worthy Advisor of the Internal Order of the Rainbow Girls, and a member of the Drill Team and Choir. Laurel was known for her magnificently decorated Christmas tree and her impeccable fashion sense. She attended Highland Christian Church, where she became a born-again Christian. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, sewing Christmas ornaments and quilts and shopping at Macy’s. She also enjoyed attending plays and concerts at Playhouse Square and family vacations. Above all, she loved her family with all her heart.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 12-2 PM in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, where the Funeral Service will begin at 2 PM. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
