Lauren E. Thomas' Obituary
Lauren Elizabeth Thomas, 33, was granted her angel wings on Saturday, March 11, 2017, following a courageous battle with colon cancer. Her final days were spent at her home in Westlake surrounded by family and friends.
She was born in Cleveland, the beloved daughter of Andrew and Sandra (nee Todoran) Thomas. Lauren leaves behind a brother and sister-in-law, Russell and Kristen Thomas and her cherished niece, Shelby Lynn, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
Her beautiful smile would melt the hearts of those around her. Lauren spent hours cuddling close to her furry friends, especially Chloe. She was an avid animal rescuer and spent countless hours feeding stray and abandoned cats and dogs. Lauren was always lending a helping hand to those in need. Truly a beautiful soul with extraordinary generosity and compassion towards others. She possessed strength, courage and perseverance, and remained a brave, iron-willed young woman, even throughout her final months. Lauren left with dignity.
Visitation Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 12-2PM at the Westwood Abbey Mausoleum Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted (Enter Main Gates of Park), where funeral services will commence on Saturday at 2PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Cat Crossing, 1550 W. 25th St., Cleveland 44113. dostalbokas.com
