Just knowing Laurie made my life and my parent's lives more beautiful. She held nothing, but compassion, love, and joy in her every day life. Man, she could make you laugh too. It's an honor to have had you as a bonus parent growing up and to say I was well loved by people who only wanted to see you flourish. I will endlessly cherish our time dancing in the basement, drunk off apple pie moonshine against my mom's wishes haha

I know my mom and dad were waiting to give Laurie a big hug again and they will keep all their babies safe together
