Lawrence Kincaid Shaw's Obituary
Lawrence Kincaid Shaw, 95, passed away June 19, 2020.
He was born in Dayton on July 1, 1924.
Beloved husband of the late Patricia (Shroyer); loving father of Steven (Suzanne) Shaw, Curtis (Ann) Shaw, Dana (Glenn) Yokoyama and Diana (Mark) Lutz; cherished grandfather of Dr. Eva (Eric Mann) Shaw, Emma (Mike) Pereria, Staci Lutz, Brittany (Rob) Clark, Tom (Kayla Ontko) Yokoyama, Drew (Katie) Shaw, Amy (John) Kerr and the late Tim Lutz; great-grandfather of many; dear brother of the late Dorothy Kern and the late Maribel Conn.
Lawrence was a member of the Millenium Masonic Lodge #779 in Dayton. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and flew off of the U.S.S. Yorktown in the Pacific during World War II. He was employed by Sherwin Williams for 43 years. Lawrence had spent the last eight years at the Western Reserve Masonic Community with many friends. Lawrence will always be remembered as an outstanding husband, father and friend.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 12 PM in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd. North Olmsted. Inurnment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
