My heart goes out to Shirley, Shelia, Lee and Scott. I am so truly sorry about the loss of your husband and father. Uncle LC was my daddy's baby brother. I have very fond memories of LC and the family coming home every summer when I was a kid. We sure had some fun times back then. Just think of the family reunion they are having in heaven: Grandpaw, Granny, Uncle Bill, Aunt Mildred, Uncle Jack and my dad. RIP.
To my Aunt and cousins,, Oh where do I begin, I remember that Uncle LC reminded me of my Dad. Because our family was so small here in the Cleveland area (all others mostly living in VA.) You were all we had. I remember your Dad and mom would bring over the prettiest Christmas ham I'd ever seen! All decorated with pineapple and cherries. I remember the picnics in the park. Fun Times! So many memories that we forget. I will never forget that he was a Holy man serving as the hands and feet of Jesus for many years. As scripture tells us, Uncle LC is Restored and Renewed! How wonderful is that!! Although we mourn, he is truly in the best place that we all aspire to be on that glorious day! Well done good and faithful servant! Oh to see the JOY upon seeing Jesus and all who have gone before him. Uncle LC Hug my dad and the family for me as they are so very missed here on this earth!
