Lenore A. Hartman's Obituary
Lenore Anne “Sue” Hartman, passed away at University Hospitals Cleveland on Monday, February 24, 2020. Born to Emma and Howard A. Hartman, DDS in Cleveland, Ohio. Lenore graduated from The Ohio State University with a BS in AG Science, and later with a MS in Agricultural Economics. She became known as “Sue” early in life, as the result of a nickname given by her father.
Graduating from Kansas State University with a MS degree in Physical Therapy, Sue embarked on a remarkable new career, putting down roots in Kansas City, Missouri where she purchased her first home. Sue returned to North Olmsted in the 1980’s to care for her parents, working in PT at Southwest General Hospital in Middleburg Heights until she retired. A member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Medina, Ohio, Sue was active in the Episcopal Church Women.
Calling hours at Bauer Funeral Home, Valley City, on Monday, March 2, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 PM. Requiem Service at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 317 East Liberty Street, Medina on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 11:00 AM. Interment at SUNSET MEMORIAL PARK, North Olmsted on Tuesday, March 3 at 1:30 PM. A reception hosted by Cat Keller and friends, at the Emmanuel United Church of Christ Fellowship Hall, 6656 Center Road Valley City will also be held on Tuesday, March 3rd following services.
