Leo T. Martynowski's Obituary
Leo T. Martynowski, 94, of North Ridgeville, Ohio passed away on November 2, 2025. He was born on August 12, 1931 to the late Leo E. Martynowski and Catherine Martynowski.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Louise Martynowski; children, L. Thomas (Susan), Edward (Colleen), James (Christine) and Debra; 9 grandchildren: Joseph, Jason, Sarah, Jennifer, Jacob, Julia, Elizabeth, Hannah, Abigale.; 2 great-grandchildren: Madeline and Samuel.
In addition to his parents, Leo is also preceded in death by his sister Dorthy Biesiada.
Leo served as a sergeant in the Korean War near the 38th parallel. He was the owner of the successful business Martyn’s Automotive Towing and Repair Service and served his community by organizing and delivering clothes and food to area missions and churches. Leo loved serving his church throughout his life where he served as Head Usher.
He enjoyed spending time participating in the Ohio Chapter of the Plymouth Club and served as the treasurer.
Leo (Bud) enjoyed square dancing with his wife Louise, traveling in his camper and spending time with his brothers and sisters in law. His grandchildren and great grandchildren brought so much love and joy to his life.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 on Sunday, November 9, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Clarence Church, 30106 Lorain Rd, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 on Monday, November 10, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted, Ohio (Section 49, Lot 202, Grave 5).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Leo’s memory to Hospice of the Western Reserve
