Leonard Junak's Obituary
Leonard (Leo) Junak, born January 2, 1957 in Cleveland, Ohio passed away in his home on January 3, 2026 after a fall resulting from months of illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Miroslaw and Tamara Junak, brother Joseph, and sister, Adrie.
Leo is survived by his sisters Greta McKinney (Bill) and Wally McGilvray (Don), and Brother Andy. He was like a dad to his nephew Danny Junak (Lorie) He also had many more nieces & nephews.
When Leo was young, he gave his heart to Jesus and was baptized. He was tops in his Sunday School class in attendance and memorizing verses. He struggled in his faith later but lately tried to read the Bible and pray again. He assured me that he and the Lord had things worked out.
Leo graduated from West Technical High school and then went to work as a machinist like his dad and uncles. He worked hard and provided a good home for and cared for his mom. He was very generous to his family, and enjoyed thrift shopping, and collecting little cars, lamps and knick-knacks.
Please keep our family in your prayers for the Lord’s Presence, Power, and Peace as we struggle through the loss of our Leo.
Funeral service details will be posted once available.
