Leonard Sedlacek's Obituary
Leonard J. Sedlacek, age 71, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018.
Born April 15, 1947 in Cleveland, to the late Joseph and Lucille Sedlacek.
Devoted father of Darla Sedlacek and Scott (Kim) Sedlacek; adoring grandfather of Sam and Emma Sedlacek (children of Scott and Mary Sedlacek); dear step father of Laura Haessly, Kevin Haessly, and Phillip Haessly; beloved brother of Janice (Jeff) Lukas, John (Jeannine) Sedlacek, and the late Sonya (Michael) Weinhardt; loving uncle of Steven Weinhardt and Daniel Sedlacek. Leonard is also survived by his first wife and mother of his children, Sandy Sedlacek and his second wife, Louise Sedlacek. He is a cherished friend of Lynea Derwis, amongst many more and will be missed by all.
Leonard was the most generous and caring man you could ever meet. He was always willing to help anyone in need. His family always came first. He took great joy in his children and grandchildren and they were the most important part of his life. Although Leonard passed unexpectedly, he was enjoying his life and was very happy.
Memorial visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 6PM – 8PM and Thursday, September 27, from 10AM – 12PM in the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH 44070 where memorial service will commence at 12PM. Inurnment immediately following in Sunset Memorial Park.
