As kids I was a neighbor and friend to the Welter family including Grandma. I spent a lot of time there. Mama Sandy was always very kind to me. Treated me like one of her own children. We kept in touch after we all moved for years. In fact, for a spell? On social media I connected more with her! Always commenting on my travels. We'd have a giggle here and there. I really loved her. As pre teenagers Casey and I were young punk rockers and Mama Sandy never got mad at the multi colored towels we made! In recent years I saw Robert and chatted with him more always touching base about the girls. I will always have love and affection for your entire clan. Casey and I have reconnected and we chat like we were kids still. I'm deeply saddened by the loss of Mama Sandy yet grateful I had someone so loving and understanding when my life was very unstable and chaotic. I will miss you and always love you. Thank you for the love and warmth you radiated to a kid who really needed it.
