Linda F. Baumbach's Obituary
Linda F. Baumbach, a cherished resident of North Olmsted, Ohio gained her angel wings on August 13, 2024. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Veronica “Vera” Burzese. Linda was a devoted wife of 24 years to the late L. Charles Baumbach and a had an unwavering commitment to her children: Kathryn (William) Willman, Karen (Timothy) Virnoche, Cynthia (Carl) Greene, Randall (Karen) Baumbach, and Susan (Raymond) Gfeller.
As a grandmother, Linda’s love knew no bounds. She was a loving grandmother to Colin Virnoche (deceased), Austin Jameyson, Cassandra Jameyson, Clare (Judson) Riviere, Ren Virnoche, Regan Virnoche, Samantha Gfeller (deceased), Heidi (Kurt) Sweeley, Lindsay Gfeller, and Carl (Susan) Baumbach. Linda is also survived by her loving sister Veronica “Roni” (Joseph) LeStrange; and friend of Kathryn and Karen’s father Alex Abonyi.
Linda’s joy extended to her great-grandchildren: Cara Sweeley, Oaklee Gfeller, Luke Sweeley, Carmen Baumbach, and Scarlett Baumbach. She reveled in their laughter and celebrated their milestones.
A proud nurse, Linda dedicated many years to caring for others. Through her faith, compassion and kindness she touched countless lives. She had an unwavering ability to see the silver lining, even in challenging times. Linda’s creativity shone through her craft projects, and she delighted in sharing her handmade treasures with loved ones and her church.
Linda’s legacy is one of love, resilience, and compassion. Even though she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, we now have an angel watching over us.

Celebration of Life will be held Sunday October 27th, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 28455 Center Ridge Rd, Westlake, OH 44145. Immediately following there will be a private family burial service at Sunset Memorial, 6265 Columbia Rd., Olmsted Falls, OH 44070.
