Linda M. Butcher's Obituary
Linda M. Butcher, 79, passed away on November 4, 2024. She was born on March 8, 1945, to the late Charles and Frances Jirsa. Linda was the beloved wife of Richard “Bud” Butcher, whom she had been married for 58 years.
Linda is survived by her son, Christopher (Jennifer) Butcher; her grandchildren, Jordan Butcher, Katie (Chuck) McCloy, Rachel Wilson, and Garrett Wilson; and her great-grandchildren, Kiara McCloy and Cara McCloy. She is also survived by her brother, Charles (Mary Ann) Jirsa, and her nephew, Zach Jirsa. She was preceded in death by her son, Rich Butcher, and her sister, Charlene Jirsa-Hughes.
Linda was a dedicated business owner of Movie Mart Video for many years. She was known for her adventurous spirit, love for the beach, swimming, and all things water-related. Linda lived life on the go, always selfless and giving. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and yard work. Her love for Christmas was evident in her beautifully decorated home each year. Linda was the kind of friend everyone strives to be. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Memorial visitation will be held at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. until the start of the memorial service at 2:00 p.m. with committal service to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
