Linda Dee Davis' Obituary
Linda Davis, age 74, passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord on 08/01/2026, surrounded by the love of her family in the comfort of her own home. After a courageous journey with declining health, her greatest wish was to spend her final days at home, and that wish was lovingly fulfilled.
Linda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and treasured friend. She had a quiet strength, a kind heart, and a steadfast faith in Jesus Christ. She found joy in simple moments with family, cherished lifelong friendships, and never missed an opportunity to encourage those she loved.
To know Linda was to know kindness, gentleness, and grace. She welcomed others with warmth, made people feel seen and valued, and always put the needs of others before her own. Her greatest pride and joy was her family. She considered it one of God's greatest blessings to watch her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren grow, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
In her final days, Linda was blessed with the clarity to share meaningful moments with family and friends. Her home was filled with stories, laughter, prayer, music, and expressions of love. Even in her final chapter, she continued to teach those around her what faith, courage, and unconditional love look like.
She is survived by her daughter Elena (Tim) Hyde; her grandchildren Madison (Zackery) Folk and Clayton Hyde; her great grandchildren Easton, Rosalyn, and Vivian; her siblings Rev Raymond (Denise) Kovach and Warren (Catherine) Kovach; and her nephew Ciaran Kovach.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Travillas “Buddy”; her parents John and Uarda Kovach; and her sister Cynthia Kovach.
Though our hearts are broken by her absence, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. We find comfort knowing she is now whole, healed, and at peace in the presence of her Savior.
A celebration of Linda's life will be held at Calvary Community Church on Saturday, August 8th, 2026 at 10am.
