Linda Marie Dodge-Mortach's Obituary
Linda Marie Dodge-Mortach, 78, of North Olmsted, Ohio passed away on September 7, 2021. She was born on November 25, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Stanley and Mary (nee Knobl) Bober.
She was a strong woman of faith; there was always great solace and comfort when reading her Bible. Her faith gave her strength to help others and her Christian spirit blessed others through volunteer work including time spent at the SJWS gift shop, Meals-on-Wheels, and the Hospice of Western Reserve.
Linda will be fondly remembered for the abundance of love she shared with her friends and family. She could always be found outdoors taking walks in the valley, sharing laughter around backyard firepits and gardening. She enjoyed traveling to Amish Country and Cooks Forest for yearly family vacations. Linda especially enjoyed creating wonderful memories with friends at cocktail hour and most importantly, spending immeasurable time with her grandkids! Her touch and presence will echo in the knickknacks that decorate her home and the love she left lingering in the hearts she touched.
She will be deeply missed by her loving husband David Allen Mortach of 8 years; dear children AJ Kennedy and Lisa (Tom) Hill; step-children David Jr. Mortach, Fred Dewey, and Deborah Dewey; treasured grandchildren Kaetlyn, Callum, Nolan Kennedy, Noah and Joshua Hill, Drake Dewey, and Hunter Dewey; sister of Jim (Gail) Bober; sister-in-law of Jack Dianiska and Doug Berg; and many dear friends whom Linda loved. She is preceded in death by her sister Joan Dianiska and Janice Berg.
Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070.
