Linda Marie Green's Obituary
Linda Marie Green, 74, of Lakewood, Ohio passed away peacefully on June 1, 2023. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on November 3,1948 to the late John and Mildred Toth (nee Swindell). Linda was preceded in death by her husband, George Green; and her sisters, Margaret Killik and Nancy Passerell.
Linda was a nurturing soul who dedicated her life to caring for others. She worked tirelessly as a private home health care provider, making a difference in the lives of those she served. Linda's compassionate nature and selflessness touched the hearts of everyone she cared for, and she will be remembered for her unwavering dedication and kindness.
Family meant the world to Linda, and she took great joy in cooking family recipes for her loved ones. Memories cooking with Linda will forever be cherished by her children and grandchildren.
Linda will be deeply missed by her family. Loving mother of Lucky Bezak, Christina Glenn, Deborah Green (Jeffrey Negrelli), Georgina (Matthew) Green-Blake, and Bonnie Ann (Jeff) Gang. Her children were her pride and joy, and she instilled in them the values of love, compassion, and hard work.
Linda leaves behind eight grandchildren including Preston Bezak, Liam Bezak, Yale Bezak, Crusoe Bezak, Makayla Glenn, Alyssa Glenn, Ashley Gang, and Caitlin Gang. Each grandchild held a special place in her heart, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
Linda was a dear sister of Mary Conway, Jack (Shirley) Toth, Steve Toth, and Joseph (Mary) Toth; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023, at Sunset Funeral Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 at 4-8 pm. A Celebration of Life funeral ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at St. Emeric Church, 1860 West 22nd Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44113 at 10:30 am. Two small parking lots available but recommend West Side Market parking lot (validated by St. Emeric Church). Interment to follow service at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park, Ohio.
The family welcomes donations to St. Emeric Church or charity of choice in lieu of flowers.
