Linda M. Meyer's Obituary
Linda Mann Meyer, age 80 of North Ridgeville, passed away November 18, 2020. Beloved wife of 54 years to Raymond Bell Meyer; loving mother of Stephen (Tammy) and Christopher (Gary); cherished grandmother of 6; great-grandmother of 1; dear sister of the late Caroline (the late Frederick) Crofts and the late Frederick Mann; “adopted mother” of John and Linda Hall, their 2 children and grandchild.
Linda loved being a nurse. She retired after 32 years with The American Red Cross and was well known for providing minor nursing help for friends and neighbors. She was a P.E.O. sister for 53 years. She was initiated into chapter AR in New York, was a former member of chapter DB of Ohio, and was a charter member of Chapter EO Ohio. Linda loved being a part of P.E.O. She was a past chapter president, was the main organizer of the EO apple pie baking fundraiser for many years, and helped to prepare many applications for women seeking assistance from P.E.O.'s educational loan fund. Linda was an active member of her community. She volunteered in many ways, including heading the pool committee for her HOA development for many years. She brought her friendly gregarious personality and tremendous energy to everything she did.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at 2 PM in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd. North Olmsted. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
The family suggests donations may be made to P.E.O Foundation Elinor Mann Nursing Scholarship (7585), 3700 Grand Ave. Des Moines, IA 50312.
