Linda Anne Sosenko, 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 25, 2025. Born on June 30, 1944, in New York City, New York, to the late William and Evelyn Cox, Linda lived a life dedicated to caring for others and cherishing her family.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, Richard; her children, William, Scott (Misty), and Richelle (Jason); her grandchildren, William and Ryker; her sister-in-law, Marilyn (Roger) and her brother-in-law Arthur (Cheryl). She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Evelyn Cox.
Linda's career as a registered nurse was marked by her compassionate service. She honorably served in the U.S. Air Force as a nurse and continued her dedication to veterans at the VA hospital after her honorable discharge.
In her personal life, Linda was an avid tabletop game player, often found completing puzzles, playing Scrabble, or enjoying a game of Uno with friends. She also loved reading mystery novels and savoring her favorite meals of steak and prime rib.
Above all, Linda's greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted supporter of her children's activities, attending all their sports events and celebrating their achievements. Linda's love extended to her grandchildren, William and Ryker, with whom she shared many cherished moments.
Linda's warmth, kindness, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
