Linda Jean Vassel's Obituary
Linda Jean Vassel, 81, of Lakewood, Ohio passed away peacefully on March 24, 2023. A longtime employee of both the Iron Gate Restaurant and First Federal of Lakewood, Linda was a friend to everyone she met. She was born on June 11, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Harold and Ruth Holton (nee Samstag). Linda will be deeply missed by her children, Deborah (John) McLaughlin and Michael (Angie) Vassel; loving grandmother of Derrick Vassel, Kristen Vassel, Renee Jones, and Emily Jones; cherished great-grandmother of Karma Sneede, Kason Sneede, and Kaiya Vassel; and a host of extended family and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings.
A family only memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 6265 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 at 11 am. A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
