Loca Jerry Caldwell's Obituary
Loca Jerry Caldwell, Jr., 77, (formerly of Maryland) of Medina, Ohio went to meet his Lord and rejoice with family in heaven on Monday, June 3rd, 2019. Preceded in death by his beautiful bride of almost 35 years, Jacqueline Cover Caldwell. Preceded in death by his parents Loca Jerry Caldwell, Sr. and Frances Mary Caldwell. Loving father to his only daughter, Kimberley June McCarthy and husband Michael. Blessed with four grandchildren, Captain Michael Colin McCarthy and wife Elisabeth, Caitlyn Marie, Matthew Jesse, and Stephanie Lee. A great-grandson that made his eyes light up, Thomas Ryan McCarthy. Loving and protecting brother to Martha Black, Frances White (late Randy) and Aleta Dorn (Ben). Blessed with many cousins, a proud uncle, and friend. A thank you to Tom Borror, friend and guardian.
Born March 2nd, 1945, Jerry was raised in Maryland. He loved church, taping his father in law’s sermons and his bride playing piano. He loved land and animals. He was a special security officer for many years. He loved strangers his whole life, so his final job was a Walmart greeter. Daily devotions were important to him. We will miss this big strong farm boy.
Graveside service on Friday, June 14th, 2019 at 1:00 pm at SUNSET MEMORIAL PARK, 6265 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070.
