Lois Carlene Bosworth's Obituary
Lois Carlene Bosworth (NEE Plith), age 92, of North Olmsted. Daughter of Harold Plith and Florence Monroe (Plith) of Nebraska, sister of Lila Colwell and Jim Van Belle of Montana. She is survived by son Kris Bosworth of North Olmsted, Blair Bosworth of Madison, granddaughter Joy (Steve)Dornblaser of Boynton Beach FL, grandson Jason Bosworth of Sheffield Lake, grandson Jonathan Bosworth of South Euclid, great granddaughter Grace Dornblaser, sister Helen Cruz and brother Larry Monroe of Montana.
Lois was a very active member of Grace Covenant Church in Olmsted Township. She was a Christian mentor to scores of women through home Bible studies. During her time as chair of the Cleveland Braille service she transcribed a biography of Frederick Douglas for the Library of Congress. She was known as a champion of pro-life and other conservative causes through her Presidency of Pro-Family Forum. Lois was most known as being an award-winning fiber artist of hats, sweaters, scarves, and coats which she adorned with her own glass-fired buttons. For more than forty years she travelled among several states selling her unique creations in juried art venues.
