Lois R. Dow's Obituary
Lois R. Dow, 93, passed away on February 4, 2026. Born on December 19, 1932, she was the beloved daughter of the late Florence and Isaac Ritter. Lois lived a long life marked by quiet strength, devotion to family, and a generous spirit that touched everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Duncan Dow, with whom she shared many years of partnership, laughter, and love. Together they built a home filled with warmth and steadfast support for their children. Lois is survived by her son, Ronald Dow, and her daughter, Linda Dow, who will forever cherish her guidance, kindness, and unwavering love. She was also preceded in death by her brother, George Ritter, who remained an important presence throughout her life.
Lois will be remembered for her gentle heart, her resilience, and the deep care she showed to family and friends. Her legacy lives on in the lives she shaped and the memories she leaves behind.
Visitation is Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070, where the funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM.
