I will never forget how at my Greek wedding my parents surprised me by dancing a traditional Greek wedding dance! On the sly my mom and Dad took Greek dance lessons to surprise me. They had the biggest smiles on their faces as they put even some of the ethnic Greeks to shame! I love seeing them so happy and they were genuinely happy for every day of their life together!! I know my mother is waiting for my father to join her in death like he was always with her in life. My father absolutely adored my mother. To watch him take care of her with such tenderness often brought tears to my eyes.Towards the end I could see that my mother's eyes continually followed my dad. She loved him so much and with good reason. My father is kind, loving, empathetic, honest, understanding, generous,………and so much more. He is loved by everyone who knows him and my mother knew him best of all. I live you Mom. Thank you for being my Mom.
I will never forget how thrilled and happy both Mom and Dad were when they arrived at my Greek wedding and put up a Greek dancing performance that was the envy of most of the ethnic Greeks in attendance. As a secret they took the time to participate in Greek dancing Lessons!! They both had such smiles on their faces. As always they were incredibly happy and loving with one another. My father took care of my mother so tenderly it often left me in tears. He truly is an example to all of us. If ,at the end of my life I could be half of the wonderful, kind, loving, caring person he is I would consider my life a success. As to my mother she is waiting for Dad to join her in death just as he was with her every day in life. I love you Mom and will miss you to the end of my life. Thank you for being such a great Mom!
I will always remember Grandma Louis. Her and Grandpa were just about the best grandparents a kid could have. I will miss her loving smile, her good natured persiflage with her husband, her amazing cooking, and especially her hilarious fear of cats. Love you forever Grandma.-Dan
We did not know Lois long, but she was my friend! We often ate lunch together and would giggle when we ate our dessert before the main entree. That meant we could have a second dessert when they offered ice cream. When she sat at a different table than us, she made a point of making eye contact and waving at me. I loved her and will miss her. We are so glad to have had time with Lois. Our condolences to Gene and his family. Gene was a living example of caring with love. He set an exemplary pattern for those who observed him. So glad to have shared time with Gene and Lois Woy.Al & Helen Knapp
