Elizabeth Dru
Lori was a force of nature with her never-ending kindness and her infectious outgoing spirit. Lori would give of herself until she literally had nothing left to give and her life is a testament to that. She truly treasured the unconditional love of God's furry creatures and showed them the true measure of God's love here on earth. She fought a long, private but brave battle with Breast Cancer and in the end God decided that he needed one more angel. My hope is that she is with her family and celebrating with a glass of Pink Zinfandel surrounded by her four-legged friends.
If Lori can teach us anything...
1.Live your life to the fullest and please DON'T wait to be happy.
2. Surround yourself with good people, who are honest and true and show you their good intentions for you through not just words, but deeds and actions as well.
3. God did not intend our fragile human forms to withstand all the stress and anxiety that can sometimes be present in our lives. It can be just as poisonous as cancer.
4.Take time to relax, repair, and rejuvenate, its healing to our bodies and soul.
5. Embrace the "sunflowers," they can take many forms in our lives.
Women please get your mammograms as they can be lifesaving!
Lori, you ARE an amazing soul and I look forward to one heck of a party in heaven!
