Louis Raymond Jewel, 95, of Cape Coral, FL, formerly of Cleveland, OH, passed away November 26, 2018.
Beloved father of Donna (Mark) Dudek and Debra (John) Motley; loving grandfather of Marguerite (Ben) Parr, Timothy Dudek, Sara Motley, and Kyle Motley; and dear brother of Charlotte (Dominic) Trivoli.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann (McMillan); parents Gordon and Marguerite (Cady) Jewel; and siblings Gordon “Bob”, Paul, Donald, Mary, and Anita.
Louis was a proud United States Army veteran, as well as a retired boilermaker, Local 744, with 70 years of service. He was great with his hands and he could fix anything, and he enjoyed golfing in his spare time. Louis loved old Westerns and the World stopped for “the Duke.” He cherished spending time with his beloved family and friends.
Visitation is 2-6 p.m., Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, where funeral services will commence at 10 a.m., Monday, December 3. Interment at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Diabetes Association, 4500 Rockside Rd, Independence, OH 44131.
