Louis F. Tull's Obituary
Louis F. “Lou” Tull, age 85, of Medina, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026. Born on September 9, 1940, in Toledo, Ohio, he was the son of the late Maurice and Henrietta Tull.
Lou was the beloved husband of Debra (née Kirst) Tull, with whom he shared a life filled with partnership, adventure, and devotion. He is survived by his wife Debra; his cherished grandchildren Lexi and Summer; and his nieces and nephews Jerry Johns, Jean Saller, David Johns, and Peggy Davis.
He was preceded in death by his children Cassandra Johnson and Max R. Tull, as well as his sister Marcia Johns.
A gifted mind with a natural curiosity for technology, Lou built a distinguished career as a computer programmer for NASA. His expertise made him the family’s go‑to problem solver for anything with a keyboard or a circuit board. His patience, precision, and quiet confidence made even the most complicated questions feel manageable.
Lou lived a life rich with hobbies and passions. He enjoyed bowling and ice skating, and he brought an adventurous spirit to the trails through Enduro mountain bike racing. He was also a proud owner of a Model A, which he lovingly restored from the ground up, a testament to his skill, patience, and appreciation for classic craftsmanship. Lou loved supporting Debra in showing their beloved Leonberger dogs, often stepping behind the camera as the dedicated videographer capturing their moments in the ring.
