Louis John Weiss' Obituary
Louis John Weiss, a long-time resident of Bay Village, Ohio, passed away on March 27, 2014, after a long illness.
Lou is survived by his sister, Darlene Elaine Beach and brother Todd Louis Weiss; nieces Angela Pemberton and Penelope Del Piano; nephews Sean Turner, Michael Nardini, James Bewley and Brant Bewley; great nieces Ava Turner and Danielle Nardini, and great nephews Nathan Nardini and Nicholas Nardini, many cousins and dear friends. He was pre-deceased by his parents Eleanore Elizabeth Kastler and Elmer Joseph Louis Weiss; and brothers Van James Weiss and Neil Brian Weiss.
Lou was a Marine Corp veteran. He proudly served in Vietnam and received honorable medals such as the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Meritorious Mast and the Rifle Marksmanship Badge. He was also employed by Laffin’s Gulf Service and the Coast Guard Exchange.
A celebration of Louis’ life will be held 11:30 a.m., Saturday, April 5, 2014, at The Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH 44070. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association, 6100 Rockside Woods Blvd., #260, Independence, OH 44131.
