Mack Wyke Pruitt's Obituary
Mack Wyke Pruitt, 88, passed away on April 7, 2026, surrounded by love. He was born on October 31, 1937, in Mocksville, North Carolina, to the late John and Molly Pruitt (nee Goins). Mack lived a life rooted in family, service, and simple joys.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Ilene Pruitt (nee Hunt); his devoted children, Debbie (Jerry) Senkovic, Lisa (Brian) Gregg and Melanie Hanrahan (Ray Fetterman), and his cherished grandchildren, Debbie, Lynne, Shawn, Brian Jr., Michael, Sarah, and Connor, all of whom he adored deeply.
Mack was also a proud great-grandfather to Anthony, Kaylee, Brandon, Brii, Nick, Ryan, Aiden, Nathan, Justin, Levi, and Eliyanah and his great-great grandchildren, Charlie and Jocelynne, each of whom brought him immeasurable joy. In addition, he was a loving and beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters and son in law, Jerry (Debbie) Senkovic.
Mack enjoyed camping and creating memories that will be treasured by his family for years to come. He also loved singing and listening to Gospel music, which brought him joy and comfort. Mack was a proud Mason, and he also proudly served his country in the United States Army, a role he carried with great honor and pride.
A man of many talents, Mack was known as a man of deep kindness and generosity who was always willing to lend a helping hand. Through his church, his community, and in everyday life, he gladly helped anyone in need and never hesitated to put others before himself. Known for his selflessness, Mack would give the shirt off his back to help someone else. His genuine love for helping people was evident in the compassion, care, and respect he showed to everyone he met.
Above all, Mack will be remembered for his love for his family, his steady presence, and the care he showed to those around him. His legacy lives on in the many lives he touched and the family he loved so dearly.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, at Sunset Silver Chapel, located at 6451 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070.
A funeral service will take place on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 1:00 PM, in the Sunset Silver Chapel at the same location. Interment will follow immediately after the service.
