Marcella Gertrude Petrigac's Obituary
Marcella G. Petrigac, 97, of Brunswick, Ohio, passed away November 23, 2022. Marcella was born on April 17, 1925, to the late Michael and Gertrude (nee Mandat) Yanoscik. She is preceded in death by her husband Andrew who passed away in 1993. Marcella worked her whole life caring for her family and will be greatly missed by her children Andrew (Linda), Donna Koeth (Dennis), Sharon Genther (Randy), and Gary (Sherri) who were devoted to her and cared for her ever since their father passed away. She is also survived by her brother Edgar (Jean - deceased) Yanoscik. Marcella enjoyed playing bingo and watching Hallmark movies and spending time reading. She loved her "St. Ambrose Community" that gathered weekly for prayer and a Eucharistic Service at RHM Manor. But what she enjoyed most were visits from and the love of her grandchildren; Kim Petrigac, Bill Petrigac, Jeff (Judy) Koeth, Dave (Tiffany) Koeth, Jill (Ben) Kendrick, Steven Genther (Elizabeth Nici), Michael Genther (Paige Livengood), Kevin (Emily) Genther, Sean Petrigac, Christian Petrigac and Bret Petrigac. She was the proud great-grandmother of 15; Mia, Quinn, Cooper, Chase, Jessica, Ian, Cody, Madi, Ty, Aiden, Mallory, Ryan, Nicole, Leah and Eleanor. Visitation will take place Tuesday, November 29, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 929 Pearl Rd., Brunswick, Ohio, 44212, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 Noon. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery following Mass. In lieu of flowers the family has asked to make a donation to the "Catholic Works of Mercy" c/o St. Ambrose Catholic Church at www.stambrose.us.
