Margaret "Peggy" Ann Nicklas' Obituary
Margaret Ann “Peggy” Nicklas, 81, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on December 14, 2022. She was born on July 16, 1941, to the late Peter and Antonia Maresh. She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Dale Keith Nicklas. Peggy is survived by her children Christine “Tina” (Donald) Paczko, James (Rita) Nicklas, Cheryl Romine, Susan (Marc) Dufresne, Jill (Robert) Burns and Robert Nicklas. She was a loving grandmother to Tara (Al), Brandon (Tiffeny), Brittany (Chris), Bobby (Jackie), Brooke, Joey, Melissa, Courtney (Billy), Hayley (Zach), Carley and Joey; and loving great grandmother to Jaden, Austin, Dakoda, Leiam and Veronica. Peggy will be missed by her brother Matthew (Terri) Maresh and her nieces and nephews. Family was most important to Peggy, but she also enjoyed a bit of travelling with her husband, family vacations, getting her hair and nails done, and a little bit of QVC shopping. She loved going to Cleveland Indian’s games with family, seeing her favorite Cavs player Anderson Verajao, playing a few scratch-offs and pulling a few slot machines. She loved to play Scrabble and to do the Jumble and Sudoku puzzles in the Plain Dealer newspaper everyday; she looked forward to that. Visitation will take place Monday, January 2, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a memorial service at 12:00 PM, at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, Ohio, 44070.
