Margie Ann Hite's Obituary
Margie Ann Hites (nee Bare), age 90, of Olmsted Township, entered eternal rest on December 24, 2025, surrounded by love. Born July 17, 1935, in Fairview, Ohio, to the late Alfred A. Stelter and Margaret L. Dennis, Margie lived a life defined by kindness, strength, and devotion to her family.
Margie adored Christmas and embraced the season with joy and enthusiasm. She loved decorating her home in grand style and cherished watching her favorite holiday movie, National Lampoon’s A Christmas Vacation. Passing peacefully on Christmas Eve feels like a tender reflection of the holiday she held so dear—a time of love, laughter, and family togetherness.
Margie was the heart of her home. A loving mother whose warmth and gentle spirit touched everyone she met. Her greatest joy was her family, and she poured her love into every moment spent with them. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and unwavering support that will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
She is survived by her beloved children: Bonnie (Gary) Galicki, Ronald Bare, Ted Bare, Terry (Karen Ann) Bare, John Bare, James (Karen Marie) Bare and Karen (Tony) Richard. Margie’s love extended to her cherished grandchildren: Katie, Holly, Junior, Laurie, and Jackie—and her treasured great-grandchildren: Kyle, Tyler, Natlie, Briella, Emma, Kayla, and Rocco.
Margie now reunites in heaven with her loving husband, Grant Arthur Hite; her dear sister, Louis Jean Saure; her grandson, Alan; and great-granddaughter, Kaylie.
Her memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration.
Margie’s gentle smile, her strength in times of trial, and her boundless love will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
A graveside date and time will be announced at a later date.
