Maria Schramm's Obituary
Maria Schramm, 95, of Parma, passed away April 25, 2022. She was born on October 21, 1926 in Germany to the late Ernst and Marie (Hutl) Theumer. Beloved wife of the late Hermann and loving mother of Pete (Diane) Schramm and the late Harry Schramm. Dearest Oma of Erika (Tom) Norris, Dawn (Ryan) Lesher, Nicholas (Ashlee) Schramm, Tyler Schramm and Claire Schramm. Uhr Oma of Aurora, Nova, Cove and Atlas; and loving Aunt. She is preceded in death by her brother Kurt (Amalia) Theumer.
She will be missed by many friends who loved her and loved her enthusiasm for her German heritage and her dedication to its culture and music. She was a member of the German Club, Lenau Park Donauscwaben and sang in the German Choir. She made a trip to Germany, the Czech Republic and Austria at the age of 92 and created memories of a lifetime for her son and daughter-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 1, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, 44070. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, May 2, at Holy Family Church, 7367 York Rd, Parma, 44130 at 11:30 am, please meet at the church in the Chapel.
