Marie Rose Baker's Obituary
Marie Rose Baker, 99, of Lakewood, Ohio passed away peacefully on March 10, 2023. She was born in Youngstown, Ohio on December 2, 1923 to the late James and Rose Bowel (nee Mulidoro) and was preceded in death by her brother Fred (Helen) Bowel. Marie always stayed true to herself and was fiercely loyal to her family and friends. Her zest for life and spunky personality will be dearly missed by all whose path she crossed. Marie is survived by her children, Michael (Beth) Baker, Patricia Najarro, and Timothy Baker (Laurel Houston); her grandchildren, Jennifer Baker, Gabrielle Najarro, Michael B. (Peggy) Baker, Christopher Baker, Carlos Najarro, Megan (Ryan) McKibbin, Molly (Michael) Fischer, and Lindsay (Neal) Hough; and great grandchildren, Dominic, Cameron, Ryan, Jack, and Tucker.
A private family visitation and memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, 11am - 12pm visitation and 12 pm service at Sunset Funeral Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. There will be a mass celebrated at St. Ignatius of Antioch at a future date. The family requests in lieu of flowers that contributions be made in Marie’s honor to St. Ignatius of Antioch: 10205 Lorain Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44111.
