Marilyn Clark's Obituary
Marilyn R. Clark (nee Hunt) passed away on November 23, 2020, at the age of 86, after a 10 month battle with dementia. She was born in Oberlin Ohio to Joseph and Mable Hunt on April 11, 1934. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Danchik (Richard), son, Bill Clark (Beth) and four grandchildren: Brian Danchik, Kevin Danchik (Amanda), Sam Clark, and Ben Clark. She will also be missed by her dear cousins, Dick and Rachel Lowe from Seattle, WA.
A memorial service will be held at Southview Cemetery in Sullivan, Ohio at a later date when it is safe for her loved ones to gather together and mourn her passing.
Marilyn worked for many years at Garfield Elementary school library in Lakewood, Ohio. She loved to read and she loved young children. She also loved nature and enjoyed spending many hours in her flower gardens. She passed away from a very rapidly progressing form of dementia and donations to dementia related research or any organization that helps children learn to read and enjoy books would be something that would have touched her heart.
