Marilyn E. Fox's Obituary
Marilyn E. Fox, age 90, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2026. She was born on January 25, 1936, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late L. Edward and Vera Belle Elliott.
Marilyn was a proud graduate of Fairview High School, Class of 1954. She spent much of her life in the Cleveland area, where she formed deep and lasting friendships. In later years, she enjoyed retiring seasonally to Estero, Florida.
She was a devoted mother and family matriarch. Marilyn is survived by her loving children, Michelle Taylor-Fox, Edward (Barb) Fox, David Fox, Debbie (Steven) Klug, and Dennie (Bryon) Pickard. Marilyn always maintained that she was truly blessed; she took immense pride in the family she built and she was blessed with 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
Marilyn is further survived by her beloved twin sister, Madelyn (the late Robert) Wilson, and by a dear host of friends in the Cleveland, Ohio and the Estero, Florida areas who will miss her greatly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Taylor, who passed away in 1966, and her husband, Norbert Fox, who passed away in 2011.
Family and friends are welcome to gather for Visitation on Monday, April 27, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. Funeral Service start at 1:00 p.m. at the chapel, with graveside to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted, Ohio
Marilyn will be remembered for her love of family, her enduring friendships, and the quiet strength she carried throughout her life.
