Marion I. Anselm's Obituary
Marion I. Anselm, 75, of Olmsted Falls, formerly of North Olmsted, peacefully passed away on January 11, 2018 following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Queens, NY, the daughter of the late Everet and Helen Donnelly Babbitt. Marion was the beloved wife of Frederick Anselm and the late Richard Stewart; loving mother of Michael Stewart and Scott (Bridget) Stewart; dear sister of Helene (Allan) Goohs and the late Buddy (Terrie) Babbitt and Betty (Frank) Liebel; adored aunt of many. Marion was previously employed as a dispatcher for the North Olmsted Police Department, as a receptionist at the North Olmsted City Hall and the North Olmsted Recreational Center. She enjoyed arts and crafts and sharing her creations with her friends. Her favorite TV shows were Blue Bloods, NCIS and Law and Order. Marion was a member of North Olmsted Assembly of God.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 4PM-7PM in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, where funeral services will commence on Wednesday at 12PM. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to the Cleveland APL, 1729 Willey Ave., Cleveland 44113.
