Marjorie Ann Throne's Obituary
Marjorie Ann Throne, age 82, of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 15, 2020.
She was born September 3, 1938, in Cleveland, Ohio, daughter of the late Sylvester Francis “Bud” and Marjorie Bernice (nee Hoeller) Gannon. Marjorie was a dedicated and hardworking woman that retired after 25 gratifying years in real estate sales. She enjoyed family, reading and traveling with her husband particularly to Cancun Mexico, Niagara on the Lake, Canada and Florida. While traveling they made many life-long friends. Marjorie loved meeting new people and had no problems making friends. Her kind, gentle, peaceful nature will never be forgotten.
Devoted wife of 29 years to Russell L. Throne; cherished mother of the late James A. (Sheila, surviving) Gebbie, Robert C. (Marly) Nagy, and Ronald A. (Annie) Nagy; beloved grandmother of Alex Nagy, Lila Nagy, Sarah (Ryan) Johnson, Colin (Sandra) Gebbie, and Amanda King; loving stepmother of Nancy (Bruce) Allen, Sandy (Michael) Throne, Donna Tabar, Laura Deyarmin, Russell M. Throne, and Brian (Jennifer) Throne; treasured sister of Joseph E. Gannon and James C. (Cheryl) Gannon; caring great grandmother, step grandmother, step great grandmother, aunt and friend of many.
Visitation will take place on Monday, October 26, 2020 from 4PM – 7:30PM at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH 44070 where a funeral service will commence at 7:30PM, Reverend Chuck Behrens officiating. Private inurnment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park at a later date.
